Orochi's sword has an {{Attack}} bonus of +65 (+63 in the {{NES}} original), and can be equipped by the {{Hero 3}}, [[Warrior|Warriors]], and [[Sage|Sages]]. When used as a tool in battle, it has the same effect as the [[Sap]]. The sword is dropped by [[Orochi]] after her first defeat in her [[Orochi's Lair|lair]]. It can be sold for 750 gold, but it is not recommended to do so due to its rarity.
*In remake versions of the game, it is possible to acquire more than one Orochi's sword if a [[Shade]] is disguising itself as Orochi. Likewise, in the GBC version, Orochi can be encountered in the [[Ice Cave]], allowing players to obtain more Orochi's swords.
