The [[Mandrake major]] is an anthropomorphic dragon that dons armour, wielding a sword and shield in battle. This vocation only gives a slight boost to a character's {{Agility}}, while reducing {{Strength}}, {{Wisdom}}, {{Style}}, max HP, and max MP. However, the greatest advantage to the vocation is that is the quickest route to learning the useful '''Oomph''' spell. At rank 8, characters will gain a weak resistance to Woosh and Sap, and a strong resistance to status ailments, plus an immunity to [[Dazzle]]. Mastering the vocation is required to become a [[Drake slime (vocation)|Drake slime]].
