Lava lamplings are dark red animated [[Material family|oil lanterns]] with bright green flames in their enclosures. They have a singular yellow eye with solid black sclerae, small smiling green mouths, and a pair of horns like a devil's on top of their heads. When casting spells or performing attacks, the tendril at the top of their heads transforms into a hand. These lamplings use their mighty flames to cast fire magic or perform a dance that sets opponents ablaze in a pillar of flames. They have a partnership with [[slick slime]]s, calling upon their aid in the heat of battle to perform a powerful fire technique to incinerate their enemies.
