[[Dai]], from ''[[Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai]]'', appears as a playable character. He fights using the [[Sword of Dai]] and his Dragon Crest.

Dai can use the following skills:
*[[Avan Strash]] Arrow: Dai slashes the air to create a projectile that knocks the opponent away.
*[[Avan Strash]] Break: Dai rushes towards their opponent. If they touch without the target blocking, Dai slashes the opponent's back. 
*Dragonic Aura Unleash – The little hero shrouds himself in blue aura, which increases his attack power and defense
*(Awakening Skill) [[Giga Strash]] – Dai’s strongest skill combines the techniques of Dai’s father Baran (Gigabreak) and teacher Avan (Avan Strash). Dai sheathes his sword and enhances it with [[Kazap]], then charges at the enemy while holding it with a backhand grip to unleash it. 
When used in quick succession, the two Avan Strash skills can combine into a more powerful technique: Avan Strash Cross.

Dai can transform into his Dragonoid form, becoming much more powerful.
