The horse manure has no known use, other than to be sold for 1 [[gold]] coin. [[Torneko]] will be disgusted if he appraises it.

It can be found in:
*{{DQ4 Chapter 2}} in a jar at the [[Desert Bazaar]].
*In {{DQ4 Chapter 3}}, a shop in [[Shinnock]] will appear to be selling [[Medicinal herb]]s for 8 {{Gold}}, but it's really manure. If distributed in [[Torneko's shop]], it will be sold for 3 {{Gold}}.

There are a total of 12 pieces of horse manure that can be found in pots and barrels throughout the game. It can be dropped by [[Nutter]]s, [[Batboon]]s, and [[Mudraker]]s. Horse manure can also be won as a reward from the Lucky Panel at the [[Casino]]. It can be sold for 1 [[gold]] coin each.

Horse manure can be collected from the [[Iluugazar Plains]] near [[Batsureg]], as well as being found in various pots and barrels throughout the world. It can be dropped by [[White trigertaur]]s, [[Sick trigertaur]]s, [[Godsteed]]s, and [[Tantamount]]s. The manure can be used to complete [[Template:DQIXQuest/13|Quest #013]]: All Fired Up and seven pieces are required to complete [[Template:DQIXQuest/52|Quest #052]]: Tall Order Cook.

Horse manure is only used in a single alchemy recipe:

Horse manure, along with cowpat, can be used as a fertilizer for growing crops. It can be picked up from sparkly spots or dropped by [[Gamigin]]s and [[Night rider]]s.

The horse manure once again returns to being an item with no practical usage. It can be found in the [[Heliodor Sewers]], [[Downtown Heliodor]], and [[Gallopolis]], as well as being commonly dropped by [[Equinox]]es, [[Godsteed]]s, and [[Tantamount]]s.

Horse manure can be dropped by [[Dracky|Drackies]], found in barrels and [[treasure chest]]s on the Stonecloud, or exchanged for one [[Mini medal]]. It can be used in the quick recipe for [[Gold chain]] in the [[Alchemy Pot]].

Horse manure is used as an ingredient to improve various accessories. It can be dropped by Drackies, [[Bodkin fletcher]]s, and [[Dark skeleton]]s.
