The Mean spirit is a monster that first appeared in Dragon Quest II.

It shares the same Japanese name as the Sekerleton

Naming

In the mobile/Switch release of Dragon Quest II, as long as in Dragon Quest Builders 2, this monster was mistakenly named Sekerleton, as both monsters share the same name in Japanese. Curiously, the friendly version of the enemy encountered in the Builders 2's final chapter is still referred to as a Mean spirit.
